Project Costs

jungle_volunteers_thailandThe cost to join for a standard 1-week project is 458 GBP, 2 weeks is £807, 3 weeks is £1050, 4 weeks is £1292, 5 weeks is £1480, 6 weeks is £1614, 7 weeks is £1883, 8 weeks is £2066, 9 weeks is £2325, 10 weeks is £2421, 11 weeks is 2516, and 12 weeks is £2583.

Your payment covers all your food, bottled water and accommodation during the project in homestay accommodation, pick up and drop off in Chiang Mai, project training and supervision and WorkingAbroad Projects backup and placement support.

Your airfare to and from Thailand, travel/medical insurance and personal expenses are not included within this price. It is mandatory for you to take out travel and medical insurance for the duration of your project.

Payment Terms

To secure your placement on the project, you will need to complete and submit the application form with your application payment of £195 (included in the total project costs listed above). If for some reason your application is not accepted, we will reimburse this payment fully. However, for those who are accepted, you will be required to pay the remaining balance 2 months before arrival. Once we have confirmed your place, you will receive an information package on the project background, your role as a volunteer, the work you will do, suggested items to bring, how to travel there and so on.

Please note that the dates listed below are the ones that are currently available, you can join the project starting on Sunday for one week up to 2 weeks in duration. Pick up will be from the old town in Chiang Mai city, and at weekends on Saturday afternoons we drop you back to the city.

30 days is the maximum length tourists can stay in Thailand on a visa waiver, so if you are coming for over 4 weeks you will need to extend your visa in the country. Or you can obtain a 60-day double-entry tourist visa in advance of your arrival.
