Pangolin LaosVolunteer Requirements

To volunteer, you do not need any previous wildlife experience. As we require dedicated volunteers all year round, we are simply looking for volunteers with a positive attitude who are interested in helping wildlife and a willingness to learn.

However, we do have a few general requirements for volunteering with us:

  • Speak a moderate to high level of English.
  • Be generally fit and healthy as the work load can be very strenuous.
  • Be able to tolerate a hot and humid climate, including working outside in these conditions.
  • Be a minimum 18 years of age – volunteers under 18 years can join our project with a parent for guardian, but thus must be approved prior to booking so please inquire with our booking staff.
  • Have a positive attitude, be motivated to help us build our centre and learn new skills.
