Useful Information About Tenerife
Tenerife is dominated by the summit of El Teide, Spain’s tallest peak. But, when not scaling these peaks, Tenerife embodies everything that makes Spain’s Canary Islands such an exciting destination. Peaceful walking trails weave past hills and the volcano’s magma-molded calderas, and along the Atlantic shoreline, the crystal clear seas lap onto volcanic-pebble beaches and shimmering natural sea pools.
If your are more interested in the people and culture then that’s in abundance too! From ancient towns, lively ports and isolated mountain villages mingle, Tenerife has a lot to offer. If arts are more your thing then visit the cultured capital, Santa Cruz, which is also home to the country’s most fabulous carnival.
You’ll need a good few days to truly explore this deliciously diverse island.
