Food, Lodging and Travel
Interns are responsible for paying/arranging their own accommodation during the internship, however, all of our interns usually book to stay at Ocean Nomads which offers a fixed rate of 20 Euros a night (April to Oct) for all our interns and 32 Euros a night (Nov to March), and offers a fantastic living experience for any marine biology student taking part in the course. The hostel is also used as a Coworking spot which provides a haven for digital nomads, presenting beachside lodgings a mere stone’s throw (100 meters) away from the beautiful Playa De Los Tarajales. The establishment prioritises the needs of remote workers, boasting a shared kitchen and high-speed WiFi throughout the property, allowing seamless work and connectivity. Beyond work, the venue offers leisure amenities such as a terrace and a bar, perfect for relaxation after a productive day. For easy travel logistics, Tenerife South Airport is conveniently situated 17 km away.
