Costs: 4 weeks is £1405 GB pounds,  8 weeks is £2540, 12 weeks is £3655 and 16 weeks is £4750.

The above costs includes your marine biology internship programme, 16 certified scuba dives including equipment, all scientific training and supervision, 1 year DAN insurance cover.  This does not cover your food or lodging, but we can put you in touch with a great hostel that offers a discounted price of 20-25 Euros a night for our interns (April-Oct) and (Nov to March) 30-35 Euros a night.

Even though you get full diving insurance over included the price, we would still recommend you have medical/travel insurance for the duration of your internship.

Payment Terms

To secure your place as a marine biologist intern in Spain, you will need to fill out the online application form along with your application payment of £195 (this is included in the total costs listed above). If for some reason, your application is not accepted, we would reimburse this payment fully. However, for those who are accepted, the remaining balance needs to be paid two months before arrival. Once you have been accepted, you will receive an  Information Package with all detailed information on your project, suggested items to bring etc.

Project Dates

Below are the available starting dates –  you can volunteer in Spain for 4-16 weeks.

Please note, the dates below represent when you would start the internship. You should aim to arrive the night before your internship starts so that you are ready for a Monday morning start.  For your departure, this marks the end of your internship, but you are welcome to stay on at the hostel if you make your own arrangements.
