Iceland Reforestation Volunteer Project

Project Costs

To volunteer in Iceland on this reforestation programme, the cost for the 2 week programme is £345 and which covers all project costs, including all accommodation, equipment provided for the project (not personal), transfers from Reykjavík to Heidmork and back, facilities, all training and supervision by project manager and volunteers, WorkingAbroad Projects backup and placement support.  Flights, insurance and any other personal expenses are at your own cost.  You are also responsible for your own food costs.

Payment Terms

To secure your placement on the project, you will need to complete and submit the application form with your application payment of £195 (included in the total project costs listed above). If for some reason your application is not accepted, we will reimburse this payment fully. However for those who are accepted, you will be required to pay the remaining balance 2 months before arrival.   Once your place is confirmed, you will receive pre-departure information on your project, suggested items to bring etc.

Project Dates

Volunteering in Iceland is available for durations of 2 weeks. You will be in groups of 4 volunteers, with additional volunteers already working in the area.
