Location
Medical placements are available in the cities of Kathmandu or Pokhara and medical trek camps take place from Pokhara as a base travelling to remote communities in the Himalayas.

Free Time
During your free time, you can explore the local area and spend time with your host family experiencing Nepalese culture. All placements also include a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Many volunteers also choose to do a Himalayan trek after their placement and we can advise you on booking this.
