Join the National Parks Volunteer Project and help with ecological restoration in Iceland, which offers you the chance to immerse yourself in some of the country’s most breath-taking protected areas while contributing directly to their conservation.

Highlights
For 11 days, you will live and work in nature, collaborate with local rangers in stunning locations in Iceland, and take part in projects that protect fragile ecosystems and preserves Iceland’s unique biodiversity.

Location
Volunteers contribute to this project in Hvanneyri in West Iceland or Mývatn, both of which offer the opportunity to explore some of Iceland’s most wild and stunning landscapes.
About Iceland

Free Time
During the placement, the volunteers will have the opportunity to explore the surroundings, go on hikes and do some activities like whale watching, enjoying natural hot springs, hiking in beautiful areas and discover Iceland.
