Project Costs

The costs for the project are as follows: 2 weeks is £1450, 3 weeks is £2075, 4 weeks is £2700 and £625 extra for every extra week. ** Note that the Vet Experience programme is a different cost** This cost includes all on-site meals, accommodation within the Game Reserve, linen (bedding), laundry once weekly, cleaning twice weekly, WIFI access, all on-reserve conservation activities and training, tea and coffee, WorkingAbroad backup and support. What is not included is your flights and travel to and from the Game Reserve, visa costs, personal expenses, and your own health and travel insurance.

Payment Terms

To secure your placement on the project, you will need to complete and submit the application form with your application payment of £250 (included in the total project costs listed above). If for some reason, your application is not accepted, we will reimburse this payment fully. However, for those who are accepted, you will need to pay 50% of the balance within 14 days of being accepted on the programme, with the remaining 50% of the balance to be paid two and a half months before arrival. Once we have confirmed your place, you will receive a pre-departure package with all detailed information on the project, details on the work in the Reserve, suggested items to bring etc.

Project Dates

All volunteers should start on a Monday and you can join for a minimum of 2 weeks up to 12 weeks in duration. If you want to start on a Monday that is not listed above, that will be fine, all Monday starts are accepted – please just note this on your application form.
