This trip has been a life changer for both my daughter and I. It was so magical – just the bond of us being together, doing something outside of ourselves for somebody else. It was so beautiful, it really magnified what we are meant to do, being in this world. It really awakened my daughter, and I remember her feeling lots of love and changes within herself as a result of this trip. Mainly she keeps saying she gets frustrated at home seeing how people are always on their phone, and people are so selfish, and it was so nice there to be with the kids, who have so little – and I noticed that she really developed a more confident and relaxed attitude after coming back. We want to do more projects together and it was cool to see the Himba village and the elephants of course, our favourite part though was being with the kids in the local school, doing art with them play and dancing with them. I am so grateful to you and your suggestion – I wish I could have stayed longer. It was everything that you said and more – Rachel is unbelievable and such a humble and passionate lady – she is trying to fundraise for the school kitchen and she said needed 2500 USD, so we set up a Just Giving page and we are already at 3000 USD – so lets hope we can continue raising even more for this very important cause. Thanks so much again for this life changing experience!

One day we did arts and crafts, and all the kids were joining in and having the best time of their life. The last day of the school really touched me, all the kids were hugging me and thanking us for changing their lives, seeing the smiles on their faces, I have never been happier in my entire life.
