The project costs are as follows: 1 week is £795, 2 weeks is £1255, 3 weeks is £1785 and so on. For every additional week, the cost is £530. This cost includes all food, accommodation within the Game Reserve (use of plunge pool, BBQ), linen (bedding), laundry and cleaning, all on-reserve conservation activities and training, WorkingAbroad backup and support. What is not included is your flights and travel to and from the Game Reserve, visa costs, personal expenses, and your own health and travel insurance.

Payment Terms

To secure your placement on the project, you will need to complete and submit the application form with your application payment of £250 (included in the total project costs listed above). If for some reason, your application is not accepted, we will reimburse this payment fully. However, for those who are accepted, you will need to pay 25% of the balance within 14 days of being accepted on the programme, with the remaining 75% of the balance to be paid two months before arrival. Once we have confirmed your place, you will receive a pre-departure package with all detailed information on the project, details on the work in the Reserve, suggested items to bring etc.

Project Dates

All volunteers should start on a Monday and you can join for a minimum of 1 week up to 12 weeks in duration, though at least 4 weeks is ideal. If you want to start on a Monday that is not listed, then that will be fine. All Monday starts are accepted throughout the year – please just note this on your application form.
